Although, a funny anecdote from when I was 16 does seem relevant to mention at this point. I was working on the 8th floor of 108 Wigmore Street, and the nearest female toilet was on the 5th floor of the nearby Selfridges – this did present a slight challenge, but I worked around it! To other women looking to break into the industry now, I would suggest always conducting yourself professionally, working hard and believe that you are able to do anything as well as the next person. “Looking to the future of the industry, Brexit will certainly present a challenge for all involved in the building industry, and the likely financial turndown following this is always a worry; but we will continue to work as hard as we can to ensure that our clients who continue to carry out developments during these uncertain times get the best advice possible from ourselves.
