When asked about her personal interactions with clients, Colette was happy to mention that she manages to meet roughly 90% of JPro’s customers. “Our office staff are all encouraged to go out with engineers and meet clients as well, so that they have a holistic understanding of each and every client’s location, systems and primary needs. This makes communication with our customers over the phone so much easier. Our USP is that we offer multi-skilled engineers who have skillsets above and beyond many others in our industry, and we carry a wide range of parts so that return visits are kept to a minimum. Our engineers are trained across skills in fire and security, and if we are on a job and the client wishes us to extend our services, we can with little or no down time. “We also pride ourselves on our knowledge. Knowledge is power, and with over 30 years’ combined experience we can offer extensive knowledge to our customers. As a woman in this industry, I have had to ensure that I am not only well equipped with knowledge of legislation, but that my practical knowledge is able to support this. Naturally it seems to be thought that female members of staff take a more traditional role in any service industry, such as accounting, marketing, HR and administration, but from the outset I have ensured that I have practical experience in the field. For example, I was the first engineer in the company to achieve their BAFE qualification for the service and maintenance of extinguishers.” Looking to the future, JPro Services are keen to continue educating both their customers and their staff. Part of their education for their customers includes the launch of their new Podcast Series, looking at a variety of frequently asked questions.
