What’s your biggest challenge facing you at present? At present, Indian Economy Is in transition phase. Lot of investments have been an- nounced but they are yet to see the daylight. Nowadays, we see rise in enquiries but getting those converted into contract is taking lot of time, as uncertainty & credit crunch still prevails in the market. The support of banks in India is also a matter of concern, particularly to the Consultancy firms. Consultancy firms in India are still being employed only by Big or Mid-sized companies, which limits their growth unless the brand has become a reputable one. TULS has been very fortunate to provide services to large number of clientele and has become known brand within short span of time. What’s the aim for your business? Although Consultancy services would be our primary business, we intend to widen the area of services we provide and get into other new and upcoming sectors. TULS intends to acquire overseas company having specific technical capabilities to make this happen. TULS intends to be extraordinary in all facets but wants to do business in ethical manner. In Long term basis, we intend to get into manufacture space and contracting space. TULS really bet big on Infrastructure industry and opportunity offered by the same. In What does your business do? TULS Corp is Project Management & Advisory Company focussed to serve clients operating in Power and Construction Space. In Con- struction sector, we serve Clients in Infrastruc- ture industry as well as Real Estate sector. In Power Sector, apart from Renewable Energy space we also serve clients in conventional Power sector. Our core competency involves in providing end-to-end & value add support to our client from inception stage up to com- missioning of the project. Some of the services provided by us are Feasibility studies, Tech- no-Economic Viability reports, Detailed Project Reports, Project Scheduling, Cost Consulting, Construction and Quality Management. We also provide Owners Engineer Services, 3rd party inspection and provide pro-active sup- port to our clients. Our focus would be New Technologies, Renewable Energy projects and Infrastructure projects. Who are your clients? TULS boasts in serving Indian as well as Overseas Companies and in particular repeat clients. About 20% of our business comes from Repeat Clients. TULS has impressive Client list varying from Multinational Compa- nies, Public limited companies, Private limited companies, Partnership Firms and high Infrastructure segment, we intend to provide EPCM services in future. With lot many international players interested to do business in India, TULS being trans- parent and ethical company can be good local partner for them. In near future, we intend to tie up with Global players and be their local partners. What’s your company’s biggest challenge? The greatest threat to the growth of consulting firms is their inability to get enough qualified people. Retaining talent and attracting manpower is a challenge. To counter these problems TULS has undertaken training programs for its employee. Apart from this, TULS has also started sponsoring higher education program to its existing manpower. This will enable our existing manpower to take higher responsibilities and become part of growth story. We also believe in gender equality and have given more emphasize on recruiting female employees. We believe female are highly efficient, quick learner and tend to engage with company on long term basis. What individual in your industry and beyond do you admire the most and why? We are strong believer & promoter of Wealth sharing culture that promotes sustainable growth for all stakeholders. Our role models are Bill Gates of Infosys, N. R. Narayana Murthy of Infosys & Hanmantrao Gaikwad of BVG Group of India. These iconic entrepreneurs have created enormous wealth for their investors, partners and employees. After wealth creation both Bill Gates & Narayan Murthy stepped down to pursue their passionate philanthropic activities and commitment towards society and charity.
