Build March Issue
Build Magazine 10 t All Saints Living it is our aim is to provide homes of the highest standard; aspirational properties that we are proud to call All Saints Living homes. We apply the same high standards to everything we do, from acquisition & construction through to issues such as community and environmental impact. Starting from the initial design concept through to construction of the finished product, we aim to maximise value of the properties whilst introducing innovative architecture and high quality interior design. We take time to select the finest quality products and materials, where possible using expert local tradesmen and businesses, to produce a final product that is both exclusive and contemporary. In addition, we have an entirely entrepreneurial approach to our business and look at each development on a case by case basis in order to ensure each client receives a top quality service which exactly meets their needs. With regards to our landmark project, Larbert House & Country Estate, we undertook almost 12 months of detailed feasibility before purchasing the site and worked with Savills Estate Agents to ensure the properties and specification were desirable. The entire development covers six acres of woodland grounds and includes full restoration and sensitive conversion of the derelict Larbert House and existing stable block into luxury apartments. It also includes four new build sections comprising of a mews block to mirror the existing stable; eight luxurious detached homes nestled within the walled garden; eight detached properties to the west of the walled garden a group of three large distinctive detached properties settled within mature trees on the east site. The project was challenging at times, with issues including changing contractor and, due to the age and listing of the building (Larbert was originally built in 1822 and is Grade II Listed ), planning issues, however we always believed in the site and with sheer perseverance we continued to reach our goal. The house, which we are currently developing into luxury apartments, will provide a rare opportunity to acquire a contemporary home set in truly magnificent surroundings. Already inhabited are eight mews properties converted from the original stable block. We are proud to be part of such a beautiful development and attribute our success to our entrepreneurial spirit, focus on quality rather than quantity and unswerving attention to detail. In addition, our management team is made up of innovators and people who aren’t afraid to push boundaries. Moving forward we have a number of large scale projects planned for 2016, including a new build housing estate of 26 properties in Belmont, County Durham – five two bedroom apartments and 21 three and four bedroom desirable family homes in a popular residential area of Durham, minutes from the City Centre. We are also currently the preferred bidder on The Walled Gardens, a project adjacent to Gosforth Racecourse, in a highly desirable residential area. The proposed luxury properties are contemporary and unique and have been designed with consideration of the environment. The homes are ecological and energy efficient buildings but benefit from all the comforts of a modern home. We are also diversifying into the hospitality sector through serviced apartments in Richmond and Harrogate.
