I am currently involved in building schools in Haiti and Kenya, and my fellow Co-Owner, Cee Freeman, served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm with the 82nd Airborne and is currently on the design committee in charge of designing the Desert Storm War Memorial to be constructed in Washington DC. “When you do what you do for a higher purpose, it drives you to go the extra mile and go above and beyond the call of duty. We have found that many churches have building committees that are made up of professionals that are not familiar with the construction industry, and are charged with a task that is outside of their realm of expertise, so we perform consultation services, at no charge to the church, to assist them in moving their project forward.” 2016 was a record breaking year for MACO Construction, and Duane hopes to see this trend continuing. “This year, we have completed three times the average number of projects that we ordinarily complete in a year, and we are set to repeat this in 2017.
