The next phase in this process is BIM implementation, where they assist in the selection and implementation of the necessary software and system standards that their clients will require to be able to successfully manage their project. The continued support that Vrame then offer throughout the project by acting as a BIM Manager ensures the successful and coordinated implementation of the roadmap by their clients. Vrame have had great success with this three stage process; we profile each step in more detail below. During the BIM Consultancy phase, Vrame help ‘builder-owners’ acquire BIM expertise. They cooperate closely with the builder, owner, investor or operator, and prepare strategic roadmaps as a basis for implementing BIM. They accomplish this by hosting joint workshops, which are tasked with specifying processes, establishing individual requirements and objectives, and to selecting the best technology for the proposed project. The output from this workshop will include a BIM strategy, a BIM execution plan, and a BIMmanual. The next phase of the approach is BIM Implementation, which is the stage where they help their client’s integrate BIM into their existing processes. They help their customers to identify new technologies and combine them with existing processes, software environments and standards. Vrame ensure the successful implementation of their suggested BIM strategy by developing guidelines and standards, curricula and training programmes. Also included at this stage is the implementation of quality assurance processes, model validation, training, BIM support and assistance, and other BIM related services. Vrame’s strategy here focuses on utilising internal resources and methods to ensure successful BIM-based project development. Finally, the BIM Management stage is reached. At this point, Vrame coordinate and validate the ongoing BIM processes of their clients.
