Our unwavering pursuit in design excellence with sharp focus on innovation will continue to lead improved business efficiencies for our clients” Describing the firm’s latest project, Prasad discusses the key challenges that they had to overcome and which aspects he is particularly proud of. “In the Marine industry, you are always running against time. In one of our FPSO projects last year, we completed the detail design of its Living Quarter in 15 days flat, covering helideck level. This meant squeezing hundreds of hours within a short span by our team. As it was a conversion project, the reference deck level had varying spacing of existing structure, and this added to the overall challenge as normally the spacing is equidistant. Overall, we satisfied our client with the speed and quality of the project.” Ultimately, it is important within such a competitive industry to differentiate the company from its competitors, something Prasad acknowledges. He states that the company has been strategic with its business and the projects it undertakes, approaching each project aiming to create a win-win situation.
