We have a track record of delivering complicated projects on challenging sites. Capital A take on projects with a minimum construction cost of £30k for internal alterations and £50k for house extensions. “Most of my projects have been for homeowners who never hired an Architect before and I work hard to explain and simplify the process. I love contemporary extensions and modern interiors and am fortunate to have clients who feel the same. I provide a full service, from initial feasibility to post-construction snagging.” To ensure that clients receive the very highest standards of support and service, Niall works with them right from the beginning, as he discusses. “When starting a new project, the initial feasibility study is key, this is where the basic moves are set in stone. It is the only stage of a project for which I charge by the hour, all other stages I usually work to a fixed price. It is open ended and I cannot predict how many times a client will ask me to revise the layout. Get the feasibility study wrong and it does not matter how well the tender, planning application, detail drawings or construction stages go, the project will not be a success.” Currently Niall is very selective about the projects he takes on and works on a ‘quality not quaintly’ basis. Moving forward, he is keen to grow Capital A whilst retaining this selective approach so as to continue offering the very highest standard of quality, as he explains in his concluding comments. “Looking ahead, I want to branch out and build new houses.
