2017 Architecture Awards Build technologies that will ensure their dream project delivers high levels of comfort and a low cost future. For example, I will shortly be working with a client on a new build Passivhaus in Ashby de la Zouch, where I will be using SIPs panels and off-site construction to build the shell. It’s refreshing to be working on a new build because it is more straightforward to detail and less constrained. More new build work is always welcome but I will never lose sight of the desperate need to improve our existing housing stock.”
