2017 Landscaping & Gardening Awards Build 13 stablished in 1993, the company started as a small team known as Esmond Resources Pte Ltd, specializing mostly in the area of horticulture maintenance and landscape enhancement. Seven years later, it has grown into Esmond Landscape and Horticultural Pte Ltd offering a wider range of services in landscape work, such as urban landscape design, concept planning, landscape maintenance, water features design, interior plant scape design, Asian pots distribution, irrigation systems and synthetic turf. Since inception the firm has worked on a wide variety of projects, including landscape designs for big houses and bungalows all over Singapore such as those located in Sentosa, Holland Road and Bukit Timah areas. Also, among the list are high rise residential units such as Patterson Suites, Luxus Hill and Foresque Residences – where the company renders landscape design for owned units, as well as developer’s show flats. The firm has also undertaken gardens for commercial establishments. The quality of service Esmond Landscape offers sets a standard of benchmark for the company in the Singapore landscape industry and it hopes to continue that tradition. The team constantly explores new and innovative ideas in Landscape Design and Horticulture, to deliver services with originality, efficiency and excellence. Presently, John shares his creativity and expertise being the Creative Director of Esmond Landscape and the immediate past Chairman of LIAS – Landscape Industry Association (Singapore) a non-profit organization of landscaping and horticultural firms that promotes quality products and services, to help fulfil Singapore’s vision to be a City in a Garden.
