Ian shares an insight into the firm’s history and how it came to achieve the success it enjoys today. “ B | D | G started as a sole trader and have grown and developed steadily, expanding both our project base and our skill set, including RICS services, project management, quantity surveying and obtaining RIBA Chartered status. “Today, we have around 20 staff and in recent years our hard work and special approach has helped establish B | D | G as a leading architect’s practice in the West Midlands, with a rich variety of work throughout the UK. We are committed to excellence, inside and out, so we use the best and most relevant methods and tools for office life and architecture. From building information modelling (BIM) to social media, we have a keen interest in staying up to date with technology, sustainability, construction and the economy. However, we are also dedicated to the personal approach, and as such we still use pencils and drawing boards, make real artists sketches and stay hands on.” Over the years the firm has grown and adapted, however it remains committed to providing its clients with innovative service offerings that meet their needs, as Ian explains. “As part of our commitment to meeting our clients’ needs, at B | D | G we provide all the services you would expect and more, sketches, 3D visuals, architectural renders and Building Information Modelling (BIM).
