The studio was founded out of a desire to add value to property, to seek pleasure in spaces and to reconnect people with style. Their work, over the years, has had an incredible impact on the general public, focused on a desire to embrace the paths as yet unexplored. Based in Stockholm, the firm has more than twenty-five years of expertise to draw on in helping brands and people alike to achieve more than they had ever thought possible. Often, the studio is engaged to design interiors for commercial spaces or high-end residential homes, managing everything from bespoke solutions to tailormade concepts. The team’s knowledge reaches across bathrooms and kitchens through to the specific furniture used and the concepts for colours, lighting and textiles. The nature of the team’s support means they can act as an independent creative, collaborating closely with dedicated set- up teams who know precisely how to bring the team’s designs to life. They act as a strategic resource for clients at every step of the process, aligning the different aspects of inspiration, business objectives and storytelling into a mix of powerful and clear experiences. One of the latest projects that the team has undertaken is a 700sqm office, which has to act as a co-working space and members club in Stockholm. The design was carefully developed with sustainability as a priority, and so the team incorporated 90% upcycled and repurposed furniture. The aim throughout this project has been to contribute to a mindful and playful sustainable environment and raise awareness around the spatial narrative on designing interiors. This desire stems from the strong belief that what you surround yourself with has an enormous effect on a person’s wellbeing, mind and body. N This passion has been with the studio’s founder, Nanna Lagerman, since she was a child. She has always wanted to create spaces where people could transform into good feelings. It’s all about the experience that a person has, and this drives much of her thinking. For this firm, the focus of interior design has never been to reflect the spirit of the time, but to respond to it and create solutions for the rapid changes we face on a day-by-day level.
