Throughout the years since its inception, the Bureau has handled a significant amount of projects of both small and large scale. In 2003, Constantinos Yanniotis, architect and mechanical and aeronautical engineer, joined the familyrun firm. Sadly, in November 2003, Vassiliki passed away, leaving behind a significant legacy. Since then, the Bureau continues its significant work and contribution in the field of architectural design under Constantinos and Yannos’ careful guidance, with the aid and collaboration of their experienced and qualified associates. Yannos was born in Thessaloniki in 1945. In 1964, he enrolled in the School of Architecture of the University of Geneva (Ecole D’ Architecture De L’ Universite De Geneve – Suisse), graduating in 1970, having earned a degree in Architecture. First introduced into architecture practice, Yannos worked in many individual villas and heavy prefabricated buildings at the ASS Architectural Bureau in Geneva. He worked there, along with Vassiliki, for almost two years during the period 1970-1971. In 1971, Yannos resided in Brussels where he stayed until the end of 1975. During that period, he was employed in Pierre Camille Ηumblet Urbaniste ENSA Bureau. At the same time, he was a student at the School of Urban Planning of the University of Brussels (Abbaye De La Cambre). Having the role of associate architect, he drafted the preliminary designs of the Student Dormitory Complex and the construction details for the School of Exact Sciences of the University of Louvain – La Neuve (1973 – 1975), among other projects. Between 1970 and 1972, he was in charge of the construction detailing set of drawings of Hopital Ourossogui Hospital in Senegal. In 1975, he returned to Greece and five years later, established the Yanniotis and Associates Architectural Bureau, along with his wife, Vassiliki. In his long-lasting activity, as head architect along with Vassiliki, the Bureau has completed a significant number of projects, several of which have been awarded and published in press or online. Founded in 1980 by husband-and-wife architect team, Yannos and Vassiliki Yanniotis, Yanniotis & Associates Bureau offers a full variety of integrated services in architectural, interior, landscape design, and urban planning.
