The Design HVAC experts team was tired of “email management” , and as such needed to create a custom end-to-end operating system to optimize workflow. Looking ahead, the future of residential HVAC systems in Canada is changing. The building codes pursuit to reduce energy is forcing positive change within our industry. Design HVAC Experts is excited to be working with Bowser Technical of Brantford, Ontario who has been developing the engineering behind “Advanced Air Systems”. In the coming years, the industry will see more Zoned Duct Systems with modulating equipment using “Advanced Air Systems” designs intended to lower energy consumption, increase occupant comfort and reduce installation costs. By 2030 the building code is targeting Net-Zero Energy Homes. To adapt around this development, Design HVAC Experts will be on the forefront of advancing HVAC systems to help meet this very aggressive target. The challenge of HVAC within super-tight and well insulated homes will focus less on heating and cooling and more on indoor air quality. A better built envelope with higher resistance and conductive values will mean there will be less of a requirement for managing temperature and more focus on the quality of the air the occupant’s breath, ensuring quality for all stakeholders.
