One of the key ways in which they have done this is through a new water-saving washing machine which has ensured that the team used 80% less water than before. Similarly, WOCA is focused on working towards becoming a paperless company by 2025, using only recycled cardboard parts throughout the business. The next big step for the team will be the development of new packaging technologies so that no more waste will be generated in the future. The difficulties of doing this in an industry that revolves around paints and oils is clear, but the need is also increasingly apparent to the team.
