From the beginning, the team were keen to offer solutions that bring comfort, wellbeing and joy to clients, and not only sell and install a few technical products that would not meet their needs. Thanks to this mindset, alongside the Co-Founder’s decade- long professional experience in product development and project management as employees of a multinational company, inHouse has since expanded its service offering to managing entire constructions and home renovations, because there is a high demand for companies with deep knowledge in planning and project management in this area. To this very day, the firm’s team believe that they can bring new concepts and new ways of doing things to make construction less stressful for clients, which oftentimes have already suffered because of poor services in the past. inHouse now offers entire solutions within the automation scope including lighting control and lighting design, climate control, audio and video, network infrastructure and customized systems to monitor various house statuses. Additionally, the firm has branched out into construction management, and in this area the team provide project planning and management, starting from the concept phase until completion, including everything needed from crew recruitment to projects such as electrical, hydraulic, civil, solar energy and water reuse. The inHouse team also use their knowledge and expertise to perform all the design consultancy needed on any given project to ensure that all clients receive the exceptional standard of service and unique solutions they have come to expect. C Currently, one of the most challenging projects inHouse is working on is transforming a 50-year-old house into a house of the future. This is a very special project for the team because it begun with a simple garage door automation, and then turned into a whole house retrofit, as the clients trusted the firm’s expert team enough to manage the entire construction as if the home was our own. This construction had a six-month planning phase, so that every aspect of the project was carefully analysed to maximize the efficacy and minimize any risks, since the clients would still be living in the house during the entire construction period. In addition, most of the existing building would have to be maintained, so there is a lot of planning involved to know the exact places to open and escape from beams and other structures. Moreover, there is a complicating factor, since the building is old there are no previous projects to show the structures and the piping, plus the walls are made of 10 inches of solid bricks. One of the exciting aspects of this project is that the entire house will be automated. The automation system will control the lighting, the HVAC, the shades, the audio/ video equipment, the garage door and sensors such as water level for the water tanks. The security system will be integrated as well. The network infrastructure will also be revamped with new equipment to provide a solid Wifi coverage. Another amazing aspect is that by the end of this construction this house will be green. The inHouse team will install a solar cell system to provide the electrical energy and there will also be a rain collection system, to reuse the rain water in various activities. Even though electrical cars are not popular in Brazil, this house will already support electrical charger equipment, and as such it will be able to bring the future into the present. This will remain inHouse’s ongoing focus as the firm looks towards a bright future.
