Taking a look at Industville’s latest new products, we were presented with a collection of beautiful waterproof lighting. Marketa explained, “We knew from our customers that there was a demand for our vintage style industrial lights which could also be used in wet areas such as bathrooms or outdoors. We were keen to fill this gap and so started re-development of some of our existing styles. Safety regulations command that outdoor lights carry a certain level of IP rating, so we had to find new and innovative solutions to achieve this. Furthermore, the original raw materials used in the designs - copper & brass - oxidise when wet so a protective solution had to be developed, which didn’t affect the light’s unique texture.” Besides new product development, Industville are also firm believers in the practice of social responsibility and encourage similar behaviour in their employees and suppliers. “Our values bind us to support the communities in which we operate, and success is viewed not only in financial terms but also by way of positive change” comments Marketa.
