We caught up with Founder Ross Farrell to find out more. rawing on its team’s experience in the landscaping and garden design market, RJF Design offers a full range of services to meet its clients’ needs. Ross provides us with more detail on the services his firm offers and how it works to ensure that every client receives the solutions they need. “Here at RJF Design, we offer a full design service including surveys, planning, imagery, masterplans, site levelling and all associated plans to create fantastic design detail drawings for all our clients. Additionally, we also employ 2 crews of highly skilled craftsmen who implement all our design work to an exceptionally high standard. Usually, we control two projects at once as this allows us to maximise the finish required for our work. Currently, we are working on two city based projects, with the first involving stonework, limestone paving, raised planters, driveway, lighting and mature hedge planting. The second project involves porcelain tiling, outdoor kitchen, synthetic grass, putting surface and lighting. “To allow every project we undertake to run smoothly, we spend a lot of time on the design elements and with clients making sure they understand everything before it goes to site. Once on site the projects always run smoothly as all staff are highly skilled to be able to understand all detail from groundworks to finishing of all tiling and planting. All plans are detailed so all sub-contractors can understand everything also.” As he looks ahead, Ross is positive that RJF Design can continue to grow and prosper as it works to move into new markets and regions, as he proudly concludes. “With regards to the future, at RJF Design we are keen to see company grow to be the ‘go to design and build company’, both within the Irish market and abroad when the company expands. We have been approached by clients from South Africa, France and the UK, who are keen for us to get involved in some large private landscapes for private clients. This is really exciting for us to be able to branch out of Ireland to taste various cultures of garden design and build in different countries.
