47 Q2 2019 BUILD stablished in 1998, altro_studio was founded by a group of individuals who were prepared to work in an interdisciplinary environment. From the very beginning, the team at altro_studio begin thoroughly research movement as applied to the home, which ranged from temporary housing to major urban projects. altro_studio mainly addressed new concepts of flexible, transformable, eco living space, in order to understand the new, functional and structural needs of the individual. Over the years, altro_studio has focused its research on new technologies, mainly ones lined to automated systems, and innovative materials. In addition to this, the practice has also investigated the problems of environmental sustainability, starting from temporary architecture all the way through to large urban projects. Not only has altro_studio so far had a dazzling career based on their numerous qualifications, accolades and vast-knowledge of the industry, the firm is also supported by a group of creative, E talented and committed individuals who work tirelessly to turn the dreams and visions of their client’s into a reality.
