BUILD Q3 2019 44 Dec18275 Founded in 2016 by Practice Director Adam Vickers, Squareyard provides development planning and design consultancy services to residential and commercial clients across the UK and internationally. Alongside this, the team at Squareyard also offer their clients with comprehensive site design services which range from feasibility studies through to detail design, tender packages and project management on site. Over the years, Squareyard have assisted clients with a diverse range of development planning services to help guide them through the feasibility, design, planning and delivery phases of a scheme. How the team have been able to achieve success within their respected industry is from their belief that good design starts by establishing a detailed understanding of the cultural, physical and environmental context. Taking inspiration from the cultural fabric, surrounding landscapes as well as the existing natural systems, Squareyard is able to create cohesive development proposals which provide enhancements to their context and to the existing communities. Sustainable Design Principles at the Core Squareyard is a team of Landscape Architects and Urban Designers based in Manchester. Recently, the firm found success in BUILD’s Ones to Watch for 2019 where they were selected as the Most Outstanding in Mixed-Use Development Landscaping - North West England.
