Eight years later in 2005, Anna tried and succeeded in bringing this philosophy to the world of architecture. For Anna, architecture is a tool to improve lives. As an architect and an honorary professor of the UNESCO Chair of Earthen Architecture, Building Cultures, and Sustainable Development, she is focused on the use of natural building materials to create outstanding results. Over the years, Anna and her studio have brought projects to life in Asia, Africa, and all over Europe. The exceptional nature of her work has also seen her receive numerous honours, including the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture, the AR Emerging Architecture Award, the Loeb Fellowship at Harvard’s GSD, and a RIBA International Fellowship. Throughout her career as an architect, Anna has been responsible for working on some of the most outstanding projects in the world.
