We work to build sustainable relationships with our customers, and offer a full corporate banking service that can be fully integrated to cover the range of financing requirements from trade finance to leasing and acquisition finance. As such, our teams work to develop a bespoke solutions and tailored products for our clients. BLME prioritises getting to know our customer, and understanding their objectives and their business. In order to provide a consistent service, we ensure that the same manager stays with a transaction from initial discussions to repayment. Perhaps our most distinguishing feature is our focus on identifying what the customer needs and working with them to achieve the best financing solution means the best for our clients. The credit approval process is centralised in our London office, which allows us to provide a highly respon- sive service. Our clients’ needs are constantly changing, and we are always looking to adapt to any developments that occur in our industry. However, we find that we evolve with the industry and our close relationship with our customers throughout the term of the finance, and the development of their projects means that we experience first-hand their changing requirements and objectives. We are based in London, and also have offices in Manchester and Dubai. Being based in London comes with many opportunities from a business perspective and we have access to a talent pool of global experts. Our shareholders and high net worth clients are predominantly based in the Gulf region and London property investment is an important part of their asset allocation. However, in the interests of diversification a significant amount of BLME’s real estate transactions are out- side of London with projects financed from Scotland to Cornwall. Looking towards 2016 and beyond, we will continue to develop our service to ensure we are best placed to appropriately finance our clients’ projects. A medium term goal is to build on our links to the GCC region and building our expertise and distribu- tion capabilities to provide gulf investors with access to the very best property investment and acquisition opportunities in the UK.
