Build Real Estate & Property Awards 2015 2 Welcome to the 2015 Real Estate & Property Awards Whilst house prices are starting to rise in some areas, the property industry still poses a number of challenges for firms operating within it. As econ- omies continue to struggle, many regions are still failing to increase their house prices in line with consumer expectations and firms are struggling to adapt to this. Additionally, as many areas experience a shortage of suitable properties, developers are struggling to meet demands and fulfil expectations whilst bat- tling against increasingly stringent planning laws. However, despite these challenges and more, many firms have worked tirelessly to serve their clients and support their colleagues in the industry. With this in mind we created the Real Estate & Property Awards 2015, which celebrate the people and firms whose responsibility it is to shape and steer the industry in what is traditionally a highly volatile and occasionally unpredictable sphere. The awards programme has recognised firms across all aspects of the industry, from law to fi- nance, commercial to residential and development to design and everything in between.
