Build Real Estate & Property Awards 2015 22 stablished in 2008, Cavendish Maxwell started as two people in a small office in Dubai and has since grown into a team of 65 strong, across eight individ- ual departments. We cover everything from residen- tial valuations through to asset and machinery valuation, and have a real-time property database called Property Monitor. Our unique approach to client service involves treating each project individually, with every team committed to delivering based on the client’s brief and bringing enthusiasm and energy to every assignment. We pay strong attention to detail on every job, including reviewing all information in a timely manner, communicating all technical details to our client and lastly presenting the report in a professional informative document. This client centred approach means that we offer more of a personable and family style approach than some of the bigger consultancies in the MENA region. We are friendly whilst maintaining integrity and professionalism in everything we do. From the moment we meet our clients, we like to keep them up-to-date on any new emergent in their project and maintain a high level of commu- nication to help sustain our personable approach. To us, the most essential thing is to ensure our cli- ents are happy, that our services have benefitted their business, and that they see value in the job, which ensures our reputation remains high in the industry and also rewards our team with a sense of achievement. Frequent communication with clients is the greatest key to success and therefore we endeavour to ensure that all of our clients always know exactly what is going on at all times, which is why we have such a high rate of client satisfaction. The UAE can be challenging as the speed of business is often slower than in other parts of the world, as is the local way of life, although this is outweighed by the amount of work there is in the region. The opportunities are vast, there is more land to develop on, many plans for large future developments and an influx of building innovation. Moving forward, the future for Cavendish Maxwell is looking very bright. We have expanded in numbers in the last year and we are dedicated to ensuring this devel- opment continues. The economy is fairly unpredictable at the moment, but whilst Dubai is still growing at the rapid speed it is and with a strong team in place, we are feeling very positive for the future.
