"Food Recycling Solutions has a passion for recycling waste wherever possible.
We collect food waste from area restaurants, schools, hospitals, grocery stores, apartment buildings and office complexes in order to divert from the landfill and create all-natural compost for local gardeners, farmers and landscapers. About 1/3 of our landfill is food waste and we aim to divert 40,000 tons a year.

We also found a great need to divert discarded mattresses and box springs from the landfill from area apartments, schools, hospitals and hotels. We have a viable model to turn mattresses into usable raw materials.”
