The National Home Improvement Council is the umbrella organisation for the UK refurbishment, maintenance and home improvement sector. Established in 1974 by Lord Ezra Kt MBE, it is the longest-serving voluntary membership organisation supporting the domestic RMI and broader Home Improvement sector in the UK. As an ambassador for collaborative action, the NHIC works across its membership, broader industry and government to improve the nation's homes together.
