The Ecology School believes that everyone should have a joyful relationship with nature—one that deepens our understanding of the world. We approach this through ecology, with wide-eyed, hands-on exploration of the ecosystems outside our door. To deepen our commitment to living, learning, working, and playing in ways that are restorative to the world around us, we are growing our campus through the Living Building Challenge. A dormitory and dining commons will be built to give more to the surrounding environment than they take. The Ecology School’s innovative River Bend Farm campus lives and breathes a sustainable future, now.
